A Question of Age

Everything was going well.

Until he asked me how old I was……….

We’d met about two months ago. Did all the usual things together but the main attraction for both of us was the sex. The sex between us was HOT!

I Respect You / I Trust You

Respect and trust is another way of showing love. Its conveys the feeling that another person is a true equal. If you talk to your children as if they were adults you will strengthen the bonds & become close friends. This applies to all interpersonal relationships

Maybe You're Right

This phrase is highly effective in diffusing an argument and restoring frayed emotions. The flip side to "maybe you're right" is the humility of admitting maybe "I'm wrong". Let's face it. When you have a heated argument with someone, all you do is cement the other person's point of view. They, or you, will not change their stance and you run the risk of seriously damaging the relationship between you. Saying "maybe you're right" can open the door to further explore the subject, in which you may then have the opportunity to get your view across in a more rational manner.

STONE Age humans may have been as randy as some of their modern-day counterparts.
Research shows humans tens of thousands of years ago may have been having sex for fun as well as for procreation, London's Times reports.

Bondage, group sex, transvestism and the use of sex toys were common in primitive societies as a way of building up social bonds, says archeologist Timothy Taylor of Bradford University.

A 30,000-year-old statue of a naked woman -- the Venus of Willendorf -- and an equally ancient stone phallus found in a German cave challenge the widespread belief that sex was mostly heterosexual and about making babies.

Mr Taylor says monogamy only became usual as hunter-gatherers took up agriculture and settled in houses, allowing the social roles of men and women to become more fixed.

Mr Taylor is publishing his views in his book Handbook of the Evolution of Human Sexuality.

Limiting decisions and negative emotions hold us back from being true to ourselves and from achieving what we really want to do in life. Negative emotions such as guilt and hurt prevent us from being truly fulfilled in all areas of our lives and if we aren’t being fulfilled ourselves it is very hard to fulfil someone else’s needs. Your needs MUST come first, it’s doing this that allows you then to give whole heartedly knowing your needs are met.

Getting rid of negative emotions from past events frees you up to focus on what you want. Knowing what you want and who you really are allows you to be open to many different experiences and who knows where those experiences might take you?

Ask yourself, when you are 95 and are sitting out on your front porch looking back on life, what will you be saying? How satisfying will your life have been if you have a bunch of reasons for why you didn’t do what you wanted to do? Too many people in life hold on to emotional baggage from the past as an excuse to put off doing what they really want only to find themselves as 95 year olds sitting out on that porch filled with regrets. Who will you be when you reach 95?

Sunday morning is for relaxing.

For many months my good friend Ell of Wilful Damage fame (http://wilfuldamage.blogspot.com) has been suggesting to me that I start a blog to keep you informed and up to date with what is happening at MSP. Well I started as you can see an opening statement but that is as far as I got as the day-to-day business of My Secret Place took over as usual.

I work 12 to 14 hours a day 7 days a week minimum. Yes I do love what I do! So Sunday morning for me is a time to relax for a few hours and enjoy reading the Sunday paper.
